Evaluating the distribution of public spending on health is important to support the planning of the provision of health actions and services, allowing their allocation to be carried out in a way that maximizes meeting the demands of the population. The objective was to evaluate the distribution of Public Expenditure on Health (PEH) in the municipalities of the state of Amazonas, in the period 2013-2018. The analysis was carried out by evaluating the distribution of public spending on health per capita, the relationship between public spending on health and the income generated in the municipalities and the evolution of public spending in the face of population growth. PEH distribution both in the distribution by municipality and in the distribution by Health Region. The trend of public spending differed among the municipalities, with the larger ones having the highest participation in PEH, but showing a drop in PEH between 2013 and 2018. Small municipalities, on the other hand, had low participation in PEH.
