With population growth and rising industrialization, there is an increase in the demand for fresh water, making the uninterrupted supply of water in the required quantity and quality a challenge. This work addresses the use of rainwater and the reuse of water in a vehicle charter company in Manaus-Am, seeking to characterize, evaluate and highlight existing systems aimed at the rational use of water resources, developing a critical analysis of the adopted solutions, with the aim of disseminating good practices. The rainwater harvesting and water reuse systems were characterized separately, seeking to understand separately the impacts generated by them and evaluate them in terms of legislation, technical standards and relevant literature. Such systems were evaluated jointly, showing that, when combined, they result in multiple savings, in the environmental, financial and social aspects, also indicating that the adoption of one or the other alone is not effective.
