This paper aimed to analyze the main scientific evidence on the profile of patients seen by the Brazilian Toxicological Information Centers - CIT and notifications of the Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação - SINAN, with intoxication associated with the use of pesticides in urban and rural areas, between January 2018 and January 2023. An integrative literature review was carried out, encompassing studies with qualitative and descriptive methods, in order to identify publications relevant to the theme. As a result of the search, the predominant profile found was that of adult men, urban residents, in single acute events, exposed in their own home by agricultural pesticides, through the digestive tract, and as the main circumstance the attempt of self-extermination. Studies such as this, which determine the epidemiological profiles allow the basis for the creation of specific health planning for the population. O uso crescente de agrotóxicos no país contribui para os casos de intoxicação e reafirma a necessidade de políticas públicas de controle mais eficazes. Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar as principais evidências científicas sobre o perfil de pacientes atendidos pelos Centros de Informações Toxicológicas – CIT brasileiros e notificações do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação – SINAN, com quadro de intoxicação associadas ao uso de agrotóxicos no meio urbano e rural, entre janeiro de 2018 a janeiro de 2023. Realizou-se uma revisão integrativa da literatura, abrangendo trabalhos com métodos qualitativos e descritivos, de maneira a identificar publicações pertinentes ao tema. Como resultado de busca o perfil predominante encontrado foi de homens adultos, residentes de zonas urbanas, em eventos agudos únicos, expostos na própria residência por agrotóxicos agrícolas, através da via digestiva e como principal circunstância a tentativa de autoextermínio. Estudos como este, que determinam os perfis epidemiológicos permitem o embasamento para a criação de planejamentos específicos à saúde da população. 3 Designer mais atualizado e autoexplicativo.
