The Covid-19 Pandemic brought many challenges in various ways, whether in each work sector or in the lives of people who, in the face of the crisis, many needed to innovate to keep or enter the job market. Innovations, in general, were associated with technology, which started to be used more intensively or even started in that period. The information and communication tools, if they were not part of this process, became part of it, since with them it was possible to connect with customers more easily. In view of this, the interest in studying the theme arose, which in this work has as its general objective, to analyze how the challenges of the Covid-19 Pandemic drove the use of information and communication tools by pizzerias of Benjamin ConstantAmazonas. The research is of qualitative approach, with descriptive character, whose data were obtained through bibliographic survey and field research, interviews applied
to four pizzerias that already operated in 2020, before the decree of the Pandemic
Covid-19 in Benjamin Constant-Amazonas and that continue to operate in 2023,
having been chosen for convenience and willingness to participate freely in the
interview. The research results present the information and communication tools used by the pizzerias participating in the research, with emphasis on the mobile device for access to social networks such as whatsapp, facebook, instagram. It is concluded, in this study, that, despite the challenges, the pizzerias use the information and communication tools because they consider relevant to their business, coupled with the need for adaptation to continue operating in the industry. |
