Resumo:
In Brazil, the transport matrix has an expressive participation of the road modal, which concentrates around 65% of the movement of goods and 95% of passengers. To ensure the conditions of circulation with comfort and safety, the municipal, state and federal agencies perform maintenance and restoration services on the highways. With the execution of these services, a quantity of residue is produced that generally does not have an adequate environmental destination. One of the residues generated is the RAP, generated by milling the asphalt coating, and this material is commonly taken to the plant or land of the companies that perform the service for public agencies, being stored and conditioned for possible future reuse. This work aims to study the reuse of milled asphalt sidewalk material from milling the streets of Manaus. In this study, the aggregates and the petroleum asphalt cement (PAC) were analyzed, coming from the recycled material and removed through the maintenance services of the city streets, through laboratory analysis and tests according to the Brazilian standards (NBR) corresponding to each material used for the production of asphalt coating. It was also analyzed through the Marshall Mixing Method for the production of the asphalt mixture for conventional CAUQ and with the addition of a percentage of RAP in the mixture, comparing the results obtained in the laboratory and in the field, by providing the results of ARDO Construtora of its technological tests, in the interest of comparing the results and ascertaining whether the addition of milled material in the composition of the asphalt material is sufficient and meets all the parameters required by Brazilian standards, thus providing a new destination for the recycled material and enhancing the care with environmental issues and generating possible savings in the production cost of asphalt mix.
