In this study entitled "Storytelling and reading encouragement in Early Childhood Education" the purpose is to understand what are the main didactic-pedagogical elements that can contribute to arouse the child's interest in reading through storytelling in Early Childhood Education. That's because, at this stage, the orality is evident at all times in the child's learning, strengthening communication and the voice of young children, which is beneficial in the most several social situations. Schools are an environment where children are socially involved and gain influences for their education throughout their early years. In field research at a County Center for Early Childhood Education, data collection for this study took place through a semi-structured interview with the reference room teacher and participant observation of activities involving storytelling in a class aged 4 and 5 years old, also being made the documental analysis of the Political and Pedagogical Project of the institution. |
