The research is based on previous studies that highlight the importance of play in children's cognitive development and mathematical learning. Recent research shows that recreational activities promote greater engagement, understanding of concepts and application of mathematical algorithms. In addition, the playful approach favors the development of socio-emotional skills such as collaboration, communication and mutual respect. The book "Fun Mathematics: Games and Play for Elementary Education" is presented as a reference that offers playful activities to be used in the classroom. The methodology proposed for the research involves the use of games, games and the number line as pedagogical resources. The analysis of the results indicates that the use of the number line is an effective tool in teaching addition and subtraction operations in the early years, promoting understanding of concepts and development of logical-mathematical thinking. The article concludes that ludic strategies and games have the potential to improve the quality of mathematics teaching, providing more attractive, meaningful and enjoyable learning for students. It is suggested that future research explore other playful strategies and assess their impacts on different aspects of mathematical learning. Este estudo científico tem como objetivo analisar os impactos do uso de atividades lúdicas e brincadeiras no ensino da Matemática nos anos iniciais, considerando os aspectos motivacionais, cognitivos e afetivos dos alunos. A pesquisa fundamenta-se em estudos anteriores que destacam a importância do lúdico no desenvolvimento cognitivo e na aprendizagem Matemática das crianças. Pesquisas recentes mostram que atividades lúdicas promovem maior engajamento, compreensão dos conceitos e aplicação dos algoritmos matemáticos. Além disso, a abordagem lúdica favorece o desenvolvimento de habilidades socioemocionais, como colaboração, comunicação e respeito mútuo. O livro "Matemática Divertida: Jogos e Brincadeiras para o Ensino Fundamental" é apresentado como uma referência que oferece atividades lúdicas para serem utilizadas em sala de aula. A metodologia proposta para a pesquisa envolve o uso de jogos, brincadeiras e a reta numérica como recursos pedagógicos. A análise dos resultados indica que o uso da reta numérica é uma ferramenta eficaz no ensino das operações de adição e subtração nos anos iniciais, promovendo compreensão dos conceitos e desenvolvimento do pensamento lógico-matemático. O artigo conclui que as estratégias lúdicas e têm potencial para melhorar a qualidade do ensino da Matemática, proporcionando uma aprendizagem mais atrativa, significativa e prazerosa para os alunos.
