However, due to isolation and social distancing, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, this market was harmed, since its main bias was in social events, such as geek convents, official tournaments, etc. Like other businesses, the solution found was digital: websites and apps became the first option for buying and selling, and even social media were implementes by many, including for an omnichannel experience, joining e-commerce with digital marketing. In this context, the use of augmented reality was considered, which by merging the digital interface with the real world ends up providing new perspectives, arousing curiosity and interest, already being explored in several areas for optimization. It is therefore interesting to understand the aspects necessary to adapt the specific TCG audience to the digital environment, in order to develop a mobile application for the Yu-Gi-Oh card game trade. Os trading card games (TCG) possuem um mercado plural, desde as fornecedoras e lojas oficiais até as trocas entre jogadores. Contudo, por conta do isolamento e distanciamento social, consequentes da pandemia da COVID-19, este mercado foi prejudicado, uma vez que seu principal viés era em eventos sociais, como os conventos geek, torneios oficiais, etc. Assim como outros comércios, a solução encontrada foi pelo meio digital: sites e aplicativos tornaram-se a primeira opção de compra e venda, e até mídias sociais foram adotadas por muitos, inclusive para experiência omnicanal, juntando o e-commerce com marketing digital. Nesse contexto foi cogitado o emprego da realidade aumentada, que mesclando a interface digital com o mundo real acaba por proporcionar novas perspectivas, despertando curiosidade e interesse, já sendo explorada em diversas áreas para otimização.
