The Center for Language Studies of UFAM (CEL) is a center of teaching excellence that collaborates not only with the community in general, but also helps spread the learning of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras). The present study aimed to analyze strategies for Libras teaching-learning practices at the Brazilian Sign Language Center for Language Studies of Manaus. Neiva (2012) and Gesser (2010), convey the importance of thinking about the training of deaf and hearing teachers, issues aimed at planning courses and preparing didactic/pedagogical materials both in the context of deaf people learning Portuguese and in the context of listeners who learn Libras. To this end, through bibliographic and qualitative research, a semi-structured questionnaire was prepared with pedagogical teachers with the aim of obtaining statements from CEL Libras teachers to present reflections around these teaching-learning practices to stimulate critical reflection by teachers in their classes. . As a result, it was observed that the use of grammatical and communicative approaches by pedagogical teachers and the visual materials used by them are adapted according to the students' level, and teachers also use what they learned in theory in Letras Libras and use it as practice. at CEL. |
