As is the case of the present work, which aims to combine the editorial format that incorporates pop-up mechanisms, with the devaluation of the historical aspect of the city of Manaus, more specifically its historical heritage, in order to promote a point of view alternative to the city's attractions. The use of pop-up mechanisms has the potential to enhance the user experience due to its interactive nature. When used to create a pop-up book that highlights the city's historical heritage, with the function of a souvenir, it would bring a different proposal to materialize the experience in the city, taking into account the memorial function produced by pop-ups, which stimulate more than one of the senses at the same time. For this purpose, manual and digital resources guided by Bruno Munari's methodology will be used, in order to obtain results where historical heritage is represented by pop-up mechanisms. And as a response to the process of analysis and data collection relevant to the project, a souvenir pop-up book will be created with a representation of the historical character of the city of Manaus. O design é uma esfera de estudo que abrange inúmeras áreas, que tem como premissa essencial solucionar problemas, dentre elas está o design editorial que se dedica a, principalmente, organizar as informações através de imagens, combinadas ou não, com texto de forma que se facilite a comunicação com o leitor e quando combinado com uma problemática pode gerar resultados únicos. Como é o caso do presente trabalho que tem o intuito de combinar o formato editorial que incorpora os mecanismos pop-up, com a desvalorização do aspecto histórico da cidade de Manaus, mais especificamente de seus patrimônios históricos, a fim de promover um ponto de vista alternativo dos atrativos da cidade. O uso de mecanismos pop-up tem o potencial de incrementar a experiência do usuário pela sua natureza interativa. Quando utilizado para a criação de livro pop-up que destaque os patrimônios históricos da cidade, com a função de souvenir, traria uma proposta diferenciada de materializar a experiência na cidade, levando em conta a função memorial produzida pelos pop-ups, que estimulam mais de um sentido ao mesmo tempo. Para tanto serão utilizados recursos manuais e digitais norteados pela metodologia de Bruno Munari, de forma a obter resultados onde os patrimônios históricos sejam representados por mecanismos pop-up.
