Due to its perishable nature and its importance for human health, it is one of the most tested and evaluated foods from the point of view of quality control, with quality being a subject that is widely discussed and highly demanded by the market. Given the above, the present work aims to evaluate the somatic cell count (SCC) in different months in the municipality of Parintins-Am. Samples were collected once a month for nine months (November 2022 to July 2023). The analysis of the collected samples was carried out at the Dairy Quality Laboratory (LABLAC) of the Federal University of Amazonas, ICSEZ. The samples were evaluated in relation to the quantity of somatic cells present in the milk. To obtain the results, milk somatic cell analyzer equipment called Ekomilk Scan was used. The average results found were compared with Normative Instruction nº 76 (IN-76) of November 26, 2018. For statistical evaluation, the data were analyzed by comparing means, applying the Tukey test with 5% probability for type I error, according to the GLM procedure (SAS, 2002). CCS results were correlated with calving order and collection months, milk production was correlated with collection month and calving order. The average CCS values are within those recommended by IN-76. There was no statistical influence on the correlation CCS with birth order, as well as CCS and month (p>0.05). For milk production there was a significant difference for the month (p<0.05), but there was no statistical difference between milk production and birth order. Factors that influenced these results are related to the region's climate variability and milking management. O leite é classificado como um alimento completo nutricionalmente, composto por inúmeros constituintes nutritivos como proteínas, lipídeos, minerais e vitaminas. Em decorrência de sua natureza perecível e, de sua importância para a saúde humana, é um dos alimentos mais testados e avaliados do ponto de vista de controle de qualidade, sendo a qualidade um assunto bastante discutido e muito exigido pelo mercado. Diante do exposto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar a contagem de células somáticas (CCS) em diferentes meses no município de Parintins-Am. As amostras foram coletadas uma vez por mês durante nove meses (novembro de 2022 a julho de 2023). A análise das amostras coletadas foram realizadas no Laboratório de Qualidade de Lácteos (LABLAC) da Universidade Federal do Amazonas, ICSEZ. As amostras foram avaliadas em relação ao quantitativo de células somáticas presente no leite. Para obter os resultados, foi utilizado o equipamento analisador de células somáticas do leite denominado Ekomilk Scan. Os resultados médios encontrados foram comparados com a Instrução Normativa nº 76 (IN-76) de 26 de novembro de 2018. Para avaliação estatística, os dados foram analisados por comparação de médias, aplicando-se o teste de Tukey com 5% de probabilidade para erro do tipo I, pelo procedimento GLM (SAS, 2002). Os resultados de CCS foram correlacionados com a ordem de parto e meses de coleta, a produção de leite foi correlacionada com o mês de coleta e a ordem de parto. Os valores médios de CCS estão dentro do que é preconizado pela IN-76. Não houve influência estatística na correlação CCS com ordem de parto, bem como CCS e mês (p>0,05). Para a produção de leite houve diferença significativa para o mês (p<0,05), porém não houve diferença estatística entre produção de leite e ordem de parto.
