Resumo:
This work describes the implementation of an algorithm for monitoring and controlling the printing and wear of molds for electronic boards in a manufacturing process. The goal of the work is to demonstrate the possibility of an application already suitable for the Industry 4.0 environment, meeting the increasing demands of customers in the market, such as cost control, quality improvement, and compliance with specified product standards. A manufacturing case is described where molds are used in the production of boards. The solution was developed by detecting the moving object and, thus, controlling the number of times this mold is used. To facilitate management, a cloud database was also created to store data on the quantities and monitored molds, as well as to send this information to selected specific email addresses. The development was carried out in Python. In conclusion, it was found that industrial automation developed with this type of algorithm enables more precise control of the production process, ensuring better quality of the final product.
