This conclusion work is part of field research carried out in the Fishermen's
Colony Z- 17 of Parintins, in the period of October and November of the year 2023. It
aims to draw attention to the living conditions of artisanal fisherwomen in Colônia Z -
17 de Parintins, between invisibility and (non) access to the law. Its objective is to 1)
Characterize the women associated with the Fishermen's Colony Z-17 of Parintins. 2)
Unveil the social and political organization of the Z-17 Fisherman's Colony; and 3)
Point out the living conditions of fisherwomen. This research was developed through a
qualitative approach with the dialectical method used and obtained as methodological
procedures interviews, observation, and analysis through a proposal/work plan of the
institution together with the technical staff of the Fishermen's Colony Z-17 of Parintins.
It can be seen in the results of the research the very significant invisibility of women in
fishing, where it was clear that they did not seek new registration access, access to
rights and the difficulties that many of them encounter in fishing work. |
