Cerambycids, known for their wood-eating larvae, can cause substantial damage to plant species. The species Trachyderes succinctus is identified by its distinctive morphological features, such as a transverse yellow band on the elytra and long antennae present. The research was carried out at the Mangabeiras Experimental Farm, located in Humaitá-AM, an area that represents Amazonian biodiversity with its tropicais rainy climate and dense forest vegetation. The main objective of the work was to record the presence of this species in the south of Amazonas.
