Teleworking has emerged as a significant phenomenon in recent years, gaining even more relevance with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has drastically altered the operations of organizations around the world. In the Brazilian federal public sector, teleworking emerged in an incipient form as a solution to circumvent the social isolation restrictions imposed at the time. Given this scenario, this scientific article aims to investigate the main benefits and challenges of remote work, through the perceptions, experiences and opinions of permanent and temporary public servants of the IBGE State Superintendence in Amazonas. To this end, a survey was carried out with employees, also exploring areas with potential for improvement and new perspectives for the future of this type of work. Analysis of the results revealed that the majority of participants prefer to adopt a hybrid work model, seeking to balance advantages and disadvantages. However, the main criticism from employees was the deficiency in support provided by the organization, covering technical and material aspects, as well as deficiencies in the training and instructions offered. |
