To achieve this purpose, the study adopts a three-step approach. Firstly, a literature review is carried out that establishes a theoretical basis on martial philosophy, contextualizing its application and impact on the lives of practitioners, both in Brazil and internationally. Next, academy students are invited to fill out a structured form in order to identify how the practice of martial arts and its philosophical principles shape their behaviors and perceptions in relation to the pursuit of knowledge and civic engagement. Finally, the study analyzes the responses obtained to present the different ways in which martial philosophy can enhance reflection on information and citizenship, considering the experiences of students both inside and outside the academy environment. The results indicate that the practice of martial arts such as Northern Shaolin Kung Fu impacts much more than just the physical aspect, and can be used for pedagogical purposes and to raise awareness about social issues, such as citizenship, through various uses. of information. In the end, we hope to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of martial arts in the formation of conscious and participatory citizens in contemporary society. Este trabalho de pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar de que forma a filosofia marcial presente na prática do Kung-Fu Shaolin do Norte influencia os hábitos e as reflexões dos alunos da Academia de Kung-Fu Shaolin do Norte em relação à informação e à cidadania. Para atingir esse propósito, o estudo adota uma abordagem em três etapas. Primeiramente, é realizada uma revisão de literatura que estabelece um embasamento teórico sobre a filosofia marcial, contextualizando sua aplicação e impacto na vida dos praticantes, tanto no Brasil quanto em âmbito internacional. Em seguida, os alunos da academia são convidados a preencher um formulário estruturado, a fim de identificar de que maneira a prática de artes marciais e seus princípios filosóficos moldam seus comportamentos e percepções em relação à busca por conhecimento e engajamento cívico. Por fim, o estudo analisa as respostas obtidas para apresentar as diferentes formas pelas quais a filosofia marcial pode potencializar a reflexão sobre informação e cidadania, considerando as experiências e vivências dos alunos tanto dentro quanto fora do ambiente da academia. Os resultados apontam que a prática de artes marciais como o Kung Fu Shaolin do Norte impacta muito mais do que apenas o aspecto físico, e podem ser usadas para fins pedagógicos e de sensibilização acerca de temas sociais, como a cidadania, por meio dos variados usos da informação.
