Resumo:
This paper presents a case study on the implementation of a communication device in a robot, using the MIT App Inventor program for interaction via an application. The main focus of the research is on analyzing the robot's components, their functionalities and operational capabilities, as well as discussing the integration of these elements with the communication software. The main components of the robot will be detailed, such as sensors, actuators and control systems, with an emphasis on how the communication interface developed enables remote operation and real-time control via mobile devices. The methodology used is based on bibliographical research and a case study, with the aim of providing a theoretical basis for the technical and practical decisions made during the development of the project. The case study is complemented by a practical demonstration of the robot's operation, highlighting the benefits and challenges faced in implementing the communication system. The research seeks to contribute to the understanding of the advantages of using mobile devices to control and monitor robots, highlighting the simplicity and accessibility provided by the MIT App Inventor platform in the development of robotics applications. Finally, the monograph analyzes the results obtained when operating the robot with the app, identifying possible improvements and future applications for the use of this technology in different contexts.
