Resumo:
This work investigates the satisfaction of physiotherapy patients in outpatient care with low back pain, a condition that affects more than 50% of the Brazilian adult population, causing a major impact on quality of life and health systems. Treatment through physical therapy exercises, such as kinesiotherapy, has shown efficacy in rehabilitation. The present study aimed to qualitatively evaluate the satisfaction of patients treated at the Spine Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic (ARCO) in the city of Coari. A qualitative, prospective, and cross-sectional study was conducted with 27 ARCO patients, who answered an anonymous satisfaction questionnaire after 20 physical therapy sessions. The questionnaire included items such as overall satisfaction with the care, comfort in the waiting room, return to the outpatient clinic, satisfaction with the exercises, staff service, hours, and physical structure of the facility. Most patients showed high satisfaction with the care and treatment results, rating them as "Excellent" or "Very good". Patients also expressed satisfaction with the comfort of the waiting room and indicated that they would return to the outpatient clinic if necessary. The physical structure was considered adequate by most, but improvements were suggested, such as the inclusion of a treadmill and the expansion of the space for group exercises. The results indicate that patients are satisfied with the care provided at ARCO. However, improvements to the physical structure and equipment were suggested, which could enhance the impact of the care provided and provide a more welcoming and functional environment for rehabilitation.
