The methodology used in this research was the deductive method; As for the means, bibliographical research was used and as for the purpose, we sought to obtain a qualitative result. Work accidents in the context of teleworking reveal a complex reality, as they demonstrate the need to reformulate worker safety standards, as a result of the growing adoption of teleworking in Brazil and around the world. Este trabalho abordou sobre os acidentes de trabalho e sua caracterização no âmbito do teletrabalho, possuindo como objetivo a análise das novas relações trabalhistas que surgiram com o teletrabalho e analisá-las à luz da constituição federal e da CLT, para verificarmos as condições da sua receptividade no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro. Já a metodologia usada nessa pesquisa foi a do método dedutivo; quanto aos meios, foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliográfica e quanto à finalidade, buscou-se obter um resultado de cunho qualitativo.
