The study also aims to verify which knowledge and/or knowledge make up the official curriculum of students in the second cycle of the research school and how they are worked on in classes in the different curricular components, as well as analyzing how Amazonian cultural knowledge can contribute to thinking in the construction of an intercultural curriculum as opposed to a hegemonic curriculum that recognizes the source of Amazonian knowledge. Qualitative in nature, it took place in a public school in the state network, whose subjects were two teachers. Data collection and production occurred through semi-structured interviews and document analysis. The data demonstrate that although local knowledge is present in the official curriculum, Amazonian literature is absent from school spaces and, consequently, from teaching practice. Hence the need to promote the use of this literature in schools in order to think about the curriculum from the perspective of interculturality. Este estudo objetiva compreender como o diálogo entre os conhecimentos do currículo oficial e os saberes culturais presentes na literatura infantil amazonense pode contribuir para o processo ensino-aprendizagem das crianças na perspectiva da interculturalidade em uma escola pública de Parintins, AM. O estudo propõe-se também a verificar quais conhecimentos e/ou saberes compõem o currículo oficial dos estudantes do segundo ciclo da escola pesquisa e como são trabalhados nas aulas nos diferentes componentes curriculares, bem como analisar como os saberes culturais amazonenses podem contribuir para se pensar na construção de um currículo intercultural em contraposição a um currículo hegemônico que reconheça o manancial de saberes amazônicos. De natureza qualitativa, realizou-se em uma escola pública da rede estadual, cujos sujeitos foram duas professoras. A coleta e produção de dados ocorreram por meio da entrevista semiestruturada e análise documental. Os dados demonstram que embora os saberes locais se façam presentes no currículo oficial, a literatura amazonense está ausente dos espaços da escola e, consequentemente, da prática docente.
