This study aims to analyze the evolution of the productive structure of Brazilian digital games specifically in the period from 2013 to 2023. To achieve this goal, the following objectives are proposed: a) To examine the supply side of Brazilian electronic games and the variables that influence it during the studied period, particularly in relation to production and the services provided and used by national companies; b) To analyze whether the digital games sector is capable of bringing social and economic benefits to the country; and c) To evaluate the relationship between national companies and the international digital games market, particularly regarding the sales planning of developers. Regarding the results, the study sought to conduct analyses on the number of digital game developers in Brazil, the number of games produced, the workers and their characteristics within this sector, the creation and protection of intellectual property, the technological resources and services utilized by developers, the industry's revenue, its financing, and the target markets concerning sales planning for the international market. These analyses reveal that the Brazilian digital games industry, despite some negative aspects that should be highlighted, shows significant evolution during the studied period, both quantitatively and qualitatively. This evolution promotes economic and social benefits not only within the digital games domain but also for the country as a whole, such as employment opportunities, income generation, social inclusion, technological advancements, and the maturation of small businesses. This contributes to strengthening economic activity, culture, and national identity.
