This article addresses some questions that lead us to understand the ontological character of work in the relationship between man and nature, as well as the working conditions and impacts on the health of welding workers at the Associação Folclórica Boi-Bumbá Garantido/Parintins. The work category presents itself as an analytical element of great importance with regard to understanding the social activities of human beings, since it is an intrinsic element in the daily productive processes of human societies. The theoretical contribution is based on the studies and ontological conception of Karl Max, as well as Georg Luckács, who places work as a founding category of social being. Important aspects of the ontology of being will be presented, where man, at the same time as he transforms nature, transforms himself, exploring his physical and intellectual capabilities. Thus, it is the action of work that demarcates the specificity and singularity of the social being, the vital element in this process, in the experience of the welders of the Boi Bumbá Garantido Folklore Association, at the Parintins Folklore Festival. |
