In this work we present the research entitled, “Cordel Literature and its contributions to Early Childhood Education”. With the main objective of understanding the relevance of contact with cordel literature in the life of young children. Therefore, it is understood that access to and encouragement of reading early in childhood enables interest in reading more, generating the development of speech, writing and imagination. This is why cordel literature was and is so important for Brazil. It is there that we realize the importance of literacy and oral skills. For the theoretical basis, we used the writings of Diégues (1973), Rcni (1998), Bncc (2017), Goulart (2016) and Vygotsky (2016)., among others. During writing, we carried out bibliographical research – reading and reflecting on articles, books, and we carried out an exploratory survey of scientific productions that deal with the theme of cordel. |
