This study investigated how transparency in public management of the municipality of Barcelos, Amazonas, is reflected on the official website of the city hall and the Transparency Portal, in light of the Transparency Law and the Access to Information Law. Using the Brazil Transparent Scale - 360º Evaluation (EBT) guide by the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) as a reference, the research explored how information is made available to citizens. The results indicate that, although there are efforts to disclose information, significant challenges remain in the updating and complete presentation of data, as required by legal standards. Both the official website and the Transparency Portal show progress in public transparency, but there is room for improvement to increase civic engagement and social control in Barcelos. This study highlights the critical importance of transparency in promoting more responsible and participatory municipal governance, providing insights to improve local governance practices.
