The textbooks approved by the Programa Nacional do Livro e do Material Didático (PNLD) go through an evaluation process with eliminatory and classification criteria, in which the results of the selection are presented in the Textbook Guides. In this way, we can learn about the strategies proposed by the textbooks, including experimental activities. We therefore used the PNLD Physics Guides from their first edition as our material for analysis, with the aim of understanding the proposals for experimental activities from the point of view of the reviewers. In the methodology we adopted content analysis, following the stages of data processing: preparation of information, unitarization, categorization, description and interpretation. The results showed that the experimental activities are carried out taking into account the safety of the students, the possibility of carrying out the experimental practices in the classroom or laboratories, considering the reality of the school, showing low-cost, investigative experimental arrangements and warning of the limitations when they are presented in a structured way. They also highlight the use of technological resources to teach physics through experimentation. |
