Resumo:
The article is a case study on the use of the Funny Food App as a didactic game to support children's literacy. This research was developed with the intention of presenting an alternative technological tool to assist the pedagogical practice of early childhood teachers, in the process of building knowledge through technology, being accessible on tablets, smartphones or any other mobile device. Being a qualitative research, distributed in 03 (three) stages, reaching in its execution a minimum of 05 (five) skills developed positively and obtaining an excellent evaluation by the participating teachers, because the content of the application presents itself in a highly attractive way and is a great tool in the process of literacy at this level of Education, facilitating learning and taking advantage of the interest of children in technological devices at their fingertips on a daily basis.
