This research aims at understanding the reproduction of the urban space of the city of Boa Vista, based on the changes in the socio-spatial practices resulting from the insertion of the Patio Roraima Shopping, especially with regard to its envolving areas with evidence to the districts Aeroporto and Cauamé. To do so, it was based on information obtained from the application of questionnaires and interviews with the population within a delimited radius of 1,000 meters, with emphasis on the use and occupation of urban space considering the categories of spatial analysis: form, function, structure and process. Boa Vista as a mediumsized city has attracted investments from various sectors of the economy, especially in the area of commerce and services, in which the newly created shopping centers are located. Because these enterprises need a large area to settle, they gradually influence a new dynamic to their surroundings, a fact that arouses the interest of the social agents who see in these areas a potential market for their gains through investments mainly of a speculative nature, That condition a series of consequences to this space. In this context, the results obtained indicate that since the introduction of the Pátio Roraima Shopping form in the western zone of the city, there has been an increase in the synergies generated in the urban space reproduction dynamics due to the changes in the project, as well as the new forms installed in its The new advantages such as increased flows of people and vehicles and spatial enhancement, which have added new functions interrelated with pre-existing ones, which consequently imply changes in landscape elements and in new forms of use and occupation Of urban space.
