To do so, it was based on information obtained from the application of questionnaires and interviews with the population within a delimited radius of 1,000 meters, with emphasis on the use and occupation of urban space considering the categories of spatial analysis: form, function, structure and process. Boa Vista as a mediumsized city has attracted investments from various sectors of the economy, especially in the area of commerce and services, in which the newly created shopping centers are located. Because these enterprises need a large area to settle, they gradually influence a new dynamic to their surroundings, a fact that arouses the interest of the social agents who see in these areas a potential market for their gains through investments mainly of a speculative nature, That condition a series of consequences to this space. In this context, the results obtained indicate that since the introduction of the Pátio Roraima Shopping form in the western zone of the city, there has been an increase in the synergies generated in the urban space reproduction dynamics due to the changes in the project, as well as the new forms installed in its The new advantages such as increased flows of people and vehicles and spatial enhancement, which have added new functions interrelated with pre-existing ones, which consequently imply changes in landscape elements and in new forms of use and occupation Of urban space. Esta pesquisa visa à compreensão da reprodução do espaço urbano da cidade de Boa Vista, a partir das alterações das práticas socioespaciais decorrentes da inserção do Pátio Roraima Shopping, sobretudo no que diz respeito às suas áreas envoltórias com evidência aos bairros Aeroporto e Cauamé. Para tanto, fundamentou-se em informações obtidas a partir da aplicação de questionários e entrevistas junto à população em um raio delimitado de mil metros, com ênfase no uso e ocupação do espaço urbano considerando as categorias de análise espacial: forma, função, estrutura e processo. Boa Vista enquanto cidade média tem atraído investimentos dos vários setores da economia, com destaque na área de comércio e serviços, nos quais se enquadram os recém criados shopping centers. Por estes empreendimentos necessitarem de uma ampla área para se instalarem, gradativamente influenciam em uma nova dinâmica ao seu entorno, fato que desperta o interesse dos agentes sociais que vislumbram, nestas áreas, um mercado potencial para seus ganhos por meio de investimentos principalmente de ordem especulativa, que condicionam uma série de consequências a este espaço.
