Resumo:
The professor’s scientific production of university is assessed by the Ministério da Educação (MEC), through its associated entities, the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP) and the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), for recommending and evaluating graduate and postgraduate courses. This study mapped the scientific and technological production of professors with a Higher Teaching career at the Universidade Federal de Roraima (UFRR), in the period from 2015 to 2020. This is a descriptive and quantitative study, based on secondary data obtained mainly through the Plataforma Lattes. From the analysis of 595 Currículos Lattes, there was a total of 3755 scientific and technological productions in the sexennium. The disparities between scientific and technological productions were evidenced, where only 0.3% of the total production was related to Intellectual Production Assets. The average production per professor was 6.3 in the sexennium. However, a large discrepancy was identified in the average scientific production between professors, centers and departments. The growth of 167% of articles published in A1 journals was highlighted, comparing data from 2020 with 2015, which positively impacts the institution, as it expands its scientific visibility and demonstrates the articulation of its researchers in the global context. This study presented data and information on the distribution, evolution and classification of scientific and technological production of professors, with a Higher Teaching career, at UFRR in the 2015-2020 sexennium. As a pioneer in the institution, it provides pertinent data that allow an understanding of the dynamics of the intellectual production of the institution's professors. It is intended that the study contributes to institutional policies to promote research and scientific production.
