Encouraging entrepreneurship, the generation of jobs and income, providing dignity through occupation and reestablished urchasing power, re-signifying the importance of women's performance in the market and in society must be goals for the achievement of social and economic development and establishment of the democratic rule of law. Within the above, it is urgent to carry out studies on the subject, especially in a country with the continental dimensions of Brazil. Thus, this work deals with women entrepreneurs in Boa Vista - RR, aiming to carry out an explanatory and descriptive cross-sectional study of individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs) from Boa Vista - RR, using secondary data. Additionally, through the use of a specific questionnaire, the study also evaluated specific cases of 30 (thirty) women MEIs from Boa Vista - RR aiming to obtain the profile of the female population working in the city's labor market. Data collection through quantitative research aims to contribute to the analysis and verification of conflicting situations such as confusion between family and professional demands, in addition to work and personal demands. Finally, as it is a project idealized for a professional master's degree, in addition to the dissertation, the development of two additional products will be part of the study: a review article and a registered trademark at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). Tendo em vista a grande influência do gênero no contexto do empreendedorismo brasileiro, a maioria das mulheres empreendedoras vivenciam discriminação, sem contar o grande desafio de buscar o equilíbrio entre suas escolhas profissionais e as demandas pessoais (família). Incentivar o empreendedorismo, a geração de emprego e renda, oportunizar a dignificação através da ocupação e do poder de compra reestabelecido, da ressignificação da importância da atuação da mulher no mercado e na sociedade devem ser metas para o alcance do desenvolvimento social e econômico e estabelecimento do Estado democrático de direito. Dentro do exposto, é premente realizar estudos acerca do assunto especialmente em um país com as dimensões continentais do Brasil. Assim, este trabalho versa sobre mulheres empreendedoras em Boa Vista – RR, tendo como objetivo realizar um estudo transversal explanatório e descritivo de mulheres microempreendedoras individuais (MEIs) de Boa Vista – RR, através de dados secundários. Adicionalmente, através da utilização da aplicação de um questionário específico, o estudo também avaliou casos específicos de 30 (trinta) mulheres MEIs de Boa Vista – RR objetivando obter o perfil da população feminina atuante no mercado de trabalho da cidade. O levantamento de dados através da pesquisa quantitativa visa contribuir para a análise e verificação de situações conflituosas tais como confusões entre demandas familiares e profissionais, além de demandas do trabalho e pessoais. Por fim, como trata-se de um projeto idealizado para um mestrado profissional, além da dissertação, fará parte do estudo o desenvolvimento de dois produtos adicionais: um artigo de revisão e uma marca registrada no Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI).
