We aim to analyze the teaching processes in times of pandemic and social distance in Early Childhood Education, and also to identify the resources used by the Early Childhood Education teacher for the preparation, execution and evaluation of remote classes, as well as knowing the difficulties faced by these teachers to perform these classes successfully, and finally, to reflect about the teacher’s role in the midst of the reality of remote teaching and social distancing, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. For that, a basic research was used, from a qualitative nature, which was developed through a case study with a descriptive approach, with characteristics of Participating Research, carried out nine teachers in a municipal school in Boa Vista, state of Roraima, which serves children aged between two and five years old (nursery and kinder garden classes). Therefore, started from the educational scenario caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, understanding the difficulties and challenges related to the teaching processes developed in the Early Childhood Education classes. the problematic of this research is expressed in the following question: Did the teaching processes developed in Early Childhood Education at the Vila Jardim Municipal School during remote classes provide participation and interaction of students in pedagogical actions in times of pandemic and social distancing? The results pointed to limitations regarding the promotion of playfulness and interaction within remote classes, in view of the fundamental role of these aspects in child development. The experience of teaching in Early Childhood Education, in the midst of the pandemic, proved to be challenging and troubled, as in addition to the difficulties related to the incorporation of technological resources and digital tools into the daily work, these alone did not ensure the participation and interaction of children, given the need to have equipment such as a tablet or smartphone with internet access available to the student, as well as support from the family, which sometimes was working at home office, or not, at times intended for synchronous classes or monitoring activities. O presente estudo se insere na linha de pesquisa Formação de professores e práticas educativas do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, da Universidade Federal de Roraima-UFRR. Buscamos analisar os processos de ensino em tempos de pandemia e distanciamento social na Educação Infantil, além de identificar os recursos utilizados pelo docente de Educação Infantil para a elaboração, execução e avaliação das aulas remotas, bem como, conhecer as dificuldades enfrentadas por estes docentes para a realização das mesmas, e por fim, refletir sobre o papel do professor em meio a realidade de um ensino remoto e distanciamento social, ocasionados pela pandemia da Covid-19. Para tanto, utilizamos uma pesquisa básica, de natureza qualitativa, que foi desenvolvida por meio de um estudo de caso de abordagem descritiva, com características de Pesquisa Participante, realizada com as nove professoras que atuaram como titulares em uma escola municipal de Boa Vista, estado de Roraima, no atendimento a alunos com faixa etária de dois a cinco anos de idade, nas turmas do maternal, 1º e 2º períodos. Portanto, a pesquisa em questão, partiu do cenário educacional causado pela pandemia do Coronavírus, para compreender as dificuldades e os desafios relacionados aos processos de ensino desenvolvidos nas aulas da Educação Infantil. Nesse intuito, o problema dessa pesquisa, se expressa na seguinte questão: Os processos de ensino desenvolvidos na Educação Infantil da Escola Municipal Vila Jardim durante as aulas remotas proporcionaram participação e interação dos discentes nas ações pedagógicas em tempos de pandemia e distanciamento social? Os resultados apontaram as limitações em relação a promoção da ludicidade e interação dentro das aulas remotas, frente ao papel fundamental desses aspectos no desenvolvimento infantil. A experiência da docência na Educação Infantil, em meio a pandemia, se mostrou desafiadora e conturbada, pois além das dificuldades relacionadas a incorporação de recursos tecnológicos e ferramentas digitais ao cotidiano de trabalho, estes por si, não asseguravam participação e interação das crianças, dada a necessidade de haver disponível para o aluno equipamentos tipo tablet ou smartphone com acesso à internet, bem como apoio da família, que por vezes estava trabalhando em home office, ou não, nos horários destinados às aulas síncronas ou acompanhamento de atividades.
