People Munduruku and Sateré-Mawé of Indigenous Kwata-Orangery practice the extraction of acai for commercial purposes and are inserted in indigenous extension actions promoted by the State of Amazonas in Indian Agriculture Program of the Secretary of Rural Production (SEPROR). By tracking the 15 Extractive acai work in five villages of IT Kwata-Orangery in 2011 were measured productivity, efficiency and operating income areas, working groups and extractive individuals. productive aspects of açaizeiros and Allometric relations in production were calculated. Daily collection income, the prices, marketed production volume and market some peculiarities in the region were observed with the actors, leaders and institutions involved. The average daily income in açaí collection work was 56.29 kg of fruit, or 37.94 reais, on an average working time of 5.9 hours. Interviews and observation conducted, cultural and ecological aspects of human-plant-landscape relationship express the diversity of interactions and importance of the forest and its resources for these people. Este estudo é um recorte do extrativismo de açaí na Terra Indígena Kwatá-Laranjal com o olhar sobre a rotina do trabalhador extrativista. Quanto trabalha? Que aspectos culturais estão envolvidos na atividade? Como distribui sua força de trabalho entre os sistemas produtivos? Os povos Munduruku e Sateré-Mawé da Terra Indígena Kwatá-Laranjal praticam o extrativismo de açaí com finalidade comercial e estão inseridos nas ações de extensão indígena promovidas pelo Estado do Amazonas no Programa de Agricultura Indígena da Secretaria de Estado da Produção Rural (SEPROR). Por meio do acompanhamento do trabalho de 15 extrativistas de açaí em cinco aldeias da TI Kwatá-Laranjal no ano de 2011 foram medidas a produtividade, eficiência e rendimento operacional das áreas, grupos de trabalho e indivíduos extrativistas. Aspectos produtivos dos açaizeiros e relações alométricas na produção foram calculados. Os rendimentos diários de coleta, preços praticados, volume de produção comercializada e algumas peculiaridades do mercado na região foram observados junto aos atores, lideranças e instituições envolvidas. O valor médio do rendimento diário no trabalho de coleta de açaí foi de 56,29 kg de frutos, ou 37,94 reais, em um tempo de trabalho médio de 5,9 horas.
