This text deals with the School to Land Programme, a public policy for the continuing teachers education in rural schools, linked to the National Program of Rural Education, of the Ministry of Education (MEC), presenting the experience developed in the State of Parana since the university extension carried out by public universities. It makes use of bibliographical research and document analysis, from the projects, reports and publication already developed, work mediated by conjuncture analysis. It highlights the need for continuing teachers education, demarcates characteristics and principles of what is an Earth School and reveals significant setbacks in public investments in the program. ABSTRACT. Este texto trata sobre el Programa Escuela de la Tierra, una política pública para la formación permanente de docentes en escuelas rurales, vinculada al Programa Nacional de Educación Rural, del Ministerio de Educación (MEC), presentando la experiencia desarrollada en el estado de Paraná, llevada por las universidades públicas. Hace uso de investigaciones bibliográficas y análisis documentales, proyectos, publicaciones e informes ya desarrollados. El trabajo mediado por el análisis de coyuntura, destaca la necesidad de formación continua de los docentes, esboza las características y principios de lo que constituye una Escuela da Terra y revela importantes retrocesos en las inversiones públicas en el Programa. Este texto trata do Programa Escola da Terra, política pública de formação continuada de professores das escolas do campo, vinculado ao Programa Nacional de Educação do Campo, do Ministério da Educação (MEC), apresentando a experiência desenvolvida no estado do Paraná, realizada pelas universidades públicas. Faz uso da pesquisa bibliográfica e da análise documental, dos projetos, publicações e relatórios já desenvolvidos. O trabalho é mediado pela análise de conjuntura, destaca a necessidade da formação continuada de professores, demarca características e princípios do que vem a ser uma Escola da Terra e revela significativos retrocessos nos investimentos públicos do Programa. Este texto trata sobre el Programa Escuela de la Tierra, una política pública para la formación permanente de docentes en escuelas rurales, vinculada al Programa Nacional de Educación Rural, del Ministerio de Educación (MEC), presentando la experiencia desarrollada en el estado de Paraná, llevada por las universidades públicas.
