A metodologia é a exploração bibliográfica, cotejando-se e intercalando-se pensamentos de vários autores. Entende-se ser o momento oportuno, porquanto em 2018 a Constituição pátria atual fez 30 anos de existência, bem como atualmente vivemos no Brasil uma espécie de onda conservadora, com pedidos risíveis por uma intervenção militar constitucional, que inexiste como possibilidade na legislação brasileira, para acabar com a perene corrupção nos poderes pátrios, a eleição de um presidente autoproclamado de direita e, mais recentemente, comemorações pelo golpe militar-civil de 31 de março de 1964, que completou 55 anos em 2019. Precisamos, mais do nunca, ressaltar a importância da democracia, lembrando de um recente período de seu fortalecimento: a promulgação da Constituição Federal de 1988.
