Resumo:
Today aging is celebrated as a conquest of humanity, in recent years this event has gained great visibility, as it is a worldwide phenomenon. With the accelerated increase in the number of elderly people in the 21st century, they made the interest for the study of aging gradually develop. With the aging of the population, it is necessary to guarantee adequate policies and guarantee quality to live this old age. Thus, the objective of the study is to Evaluate the Development of Public Policies of Global Attention to the Elderly in Tocantinópolis, having as methodology: a bibliographical, documentary and field review of a qualitative nature, through research in scientific articles on the Google academic platform on the web , As well as the intersection of keywords. In the midst of this, it is observed that, although there are many actions aimed at the well-being and quality of life of the elderly, the development of Public Policies in Tocantinópolis is still insufficient, as some results of the study indicate and can be observed Throughout the work. In this sense, we conclude that education is something permanent that occurs in diverse environments, within this understanding we believe that these individuals can still learn as long as they do not give up on them. In this way, it is through education that the access to information is guaranteed, making the subject take the reins of his life and become protagonist of his own history, with the perspective of provoking social transformations.
