The present text is a Course Completion Work (TCC) of Degree in Pedagogy at the Federal
University of Tocantins (UFT) that deals with a study on the guarantee of education right
through the National Program to Support the Transportation of Schoolchildren (PNATE) The
purpose of this research is to analyze whether the School Transportation for those who travel
from the villages and towns to Nazaré - TO, has contributed to ensure the right to education. In
other words, how does School Transportation take place for those who travel from villages and
towns to Nazareth and to what extent does it guarantee access to education for these children?
For the development of this study we opted for a qualitative approach with the use of
quantitative data and information. Making use of documentary research and interviews (data
collection). Having as a methodological strategy the case study. It concludes that the PNATE
has reached the objective so that the municipality of Nazaré can assure the right to education,
guaranteeing access and permanence of children, young people and adults to the school even if
living in more distant areas and that do not have near school. |
