Resumo:
We explain in this dissertation a teaching proposal based on the didactic sequence, sup- ported by Zabala (1998) that aimed to bring a new possibility in the teaching of mathe- matics regarding the geometric construction of some regular polygons: Enclosed Square, Enclosed Pentagon and Enclosed Hexagon. the aid of the ungraded ruler and compass. In order to fulfill the objectives, a brief historical approach was necessary, about the ori- gin of the geometric constructions, objectively brought the geometric entities (mediatrix, bisection of an Angle, capable arch, center and circumcenter), as well as developed the geometric constructions of the figures mentioned above. Moving on to the realization of the proposal of the didactic sequence comprised in 8 (eight) 50- minute classes each that provided an alternative to the teaching of mathematics with tips and ideas of teaching for each class, thus weaving a reflection on the posture of the teacher in room and mainly broadening the range for teaching math.
