Therefore, we have a very important figure in this process, LSB professional translator / educational interpreter. According with Stieler (2016); Lacerda (2019) and Quadros (2004) studies about this temathic are little yet. this article aims to analyze the attributions of the Libras translator / educational interpreter in higher education, specifically at the Porto Nacional campus of the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) in the LSB Literature course. For the two documents analyzed, which present the duties of this professional on the campus of UFT Porto Nacional, three data editors from 2016 to 2019, among them, one went to the provision of effective load and the other two to temporary. The results of the analysis point to some questions about the attributions of this professional in higher education in the institution in question, and opens a field for further research related to this theme. É sabido que a comunidade surda brasileira, tem assegurado por Lei direitos que os possibilite exercer o seu papel de cidadão. Direitos que lhes assegurem acessibilidade e inclusão no que diz respeito à comunicação, ao acesso às informações, a uma educação bilíngue desde o fundamental até o ensino superior. Assim sendo, temos uma figura importante nesse processo, o profissional tradutor/intérprete educacional de Libras. De acordo com Stieler (2016); Lacerda (2019); e Quadros (2004), estudos sobre essa temática ainda são poucos. Em vista disto este artigo tem como objetivo analisar as atribuições do tradutor/intérprete educacional de Libras no ensino superior, especificamente no campus Porto Nacional da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) no curso de Letras Libras. Para tanto foram analisados documentos norteadores que apresentam às atribuições deste profissional na UFT campus Porto Nacional, que foram três editais datados dos anos de 2016 a 2019, entre eles, um foi para provimento de cargo efetivo e os outros dois para contratação temporária.
