This work aimed to present the development of reading classes from the perspective
of active methodologies. For that, we started from experiences of reading classes of
narrative texts developed from mental maps with elementary school students. In order
to develop this study, we pursue the following objectives: the general objective is to
discuss the application of active methodologies in interface with reading, in order to
seek changes to the fruitful and innovative pedagogical practice, followed by specific
objectives, based on what follows : seek the solution of a collective issue, which is the
use of an innovative methodology, to work with reading and interpreting texts; observe
what has been happening in terms of applying methodologies, giving the respondents'
perception of the reality of their own classroom; check that the active methodologies
contribute to a good interpretation of the readings performed; seek information on
reading, its importance and specifications, aiming to create a culture of reading in the
group involved with the research; experiencing a reading wheel using a literary
narrative, emphasizing the elements that compose it in the narrative sequence and
interpreting the narrated story through a mental map. In this context, the execution of
a project requires an answer, resulting in the following question: will the result of this
action research, make it possible to advance the student's knowledge and
development with the use of active methodology? Does the teacher have a
methodological update, aiming at more productive results in the execution of his work
with active methodologies? Faced with the hypothesis, in view of the difficulties related
to the teaching and learning process, working with active methodologies, aiming to
make the student protagonist by the search for knowledge, consists of a proficient
strategy, with regard to an effective and reading practice. |
