Within the scope of policies, the Public Power has sought to integrate public policies on education and social assistance, aiming at the transfer of income to minimize situations of families in a situation of social vulnerability. In view of this reality, the problem that guides the research translates into the following question: How is it carried out and what are the results of the Program for Monitoring and Monitoring Access and Permanence at the School of People with Disabilities who are beneficiaries of the Continuing Benefit in the Municipal System of Educação de Palmas - Tocantins? In this sense, the general objective of this study is to know the conditions of access and permanence of the BPC beneficiary students in the public school of the Municipal Education system of Palmas - Tocantins. The specific objectives are: to discuss the conceptions of education for people with disabilities from the recognition and guarantee of education as a social right; identify the offer of special education in the municipal network of Palmas; map the profile of the beneficiaries of the Continuous Benefit Benefit and their families in the socio-economic and educational context of Palmas-TO and, finally, verify how the pedagogical monitoring of the students benefiting from the BPC program at school is carried out in the Municipal Education System of Palmas - Tocantins. For the development of this research, we opted for a qualitative approach, analysis of documents in the public domain and to theoretically subsidize the discussions we support in bibliographic research. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, a historical rescue of the articulation of Social Assistance and Education Policies as a right and the constitution of the Benefit of Continued Provision in Brazil (BPC) was carried out, covering some considerations about the BPC in School Program, going through the priority public of the program: children and adolescents, their entities involved and the implementation of the Program in the Municipality of Palmas. And, finally, we made some considerations on the topic. O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objeto de estudo as ações e estratégias conjuntas desenvolvidas pelas políticas públicas sociais e educacionais do Município de Palmas (TO) no tocante ao acesso à educação de pessoas deficientes. No âmbito das políticas, o Poder Público tem buscado integrar políticas públicas de educação e assistência social, visando a transferência de renda para minimizar situações de famílias em quadro de vulnerabilidade social. Diante desta realidade, o problema que orienta a pesquisa traduz-se na seguinte questão: Como é executado e quais os resultados do Programa de Acompanhamento e Monitoramento do Acesso e Permanência na Escola das Pessoas com Deficiências beneficiárias do Benefício de Prestação Continuada no Sistema Municipal de Educação de Palmas - Tocantins? Neste sentido, o objetivo geral desse estudo é conhecer as condições de acesso e permanência dos alunos beneficiários do BPC na Escola pública do sistema de Educação Municipal de Palmas - Tocantins. Os objetivos específicos são: discutir as concepções de educação para pessoas com deficiência a partir do reconhecimento e garantia da educação como direito social; identificar a oferta da educação especial na rede municipal de Palmas; mapear o perfil dos beneficiários do Benefício de Prestação Continuada e seus familiares no contexto socioeconômico e educacional de Palmas-TO e, por último, verificar como é realizado o acompanhamento pedagógico dos estudantes beneficiários do programa BPC na escola no Sistema Municipal de Educação de Palmas – Tocantins. Para o desenvolvimento desta pesquisa, optou-se por uma abordagem de cunho qualitativo, análise de documentos de domínio público e para subsidiar teoricamente as discussões nos respaldamos em pesquisa bibliográfica. Para atingir os objetivos propostos, foi realizado um resgate histórico da articulação das Políticas de Assistência Social e Educação como direito e a constituição do Benefício de Prestação Continuada no Brasil (BPC), percorrendo algumas considerações sobre o Programa BPC na Escola, perpassando pelo público prioritário do programa: crianças e adolescentes, seus entes envolvidos e a implantação do Programa no Município de Palmas.
