The aim of this study is to describe the reality of Physical Education in the state school
system in Tocantinópolis/TO, in a pandemic context. Therefore, a descriptive-
interpretive research was carried out, with data and information obtained from the
application of a questionnaire via the Google Forms platform, to Physical Education
teachers working in state schools in the city. As main results, we highlight the adoption
of remote teaching for the continuity of the educational process and the difficulties
experienced by Physical Education teachers, such as adapting to non-classroom work,
conducting classes over the internet, using mechanisms such as virtual communication
platforms , applications and social networks, in addition to the need to operate with
bodily practice, even remotely. |
