The present research has as general objective to analyze the application of games for students
targeting Special Education, starting from a case study, at the Cristo Rei Parish School, in the
city of Tocantinópolis-To. The observed fact is that in this school there is a significant
number of students enrolled with intellectual disabilities so I analyze this fact from a specific
case of a student studying in the ninth grade class. I use the qualitative research methodology
and the case study method with the participant observation technique. Through participant
observation, I realized that the student with intellectual disabilities plays various recreational
games such as ping pong, futsal, chess, memory game and checkers, outlining their interaction
process with colleagues and boosting their cognitive process. |
