We examine the course's curricular structure, teaching actions and intersubjective relationships as fundamental elements for the reconnection and constitution of knowledge, based on the understanding of the multidimensional aspect of the deaf individuals beyond second language instruction. We highlight the importance to evidence that the human multidimensionality being must be considered throughout the training process, where if provides to the future's teaching professional the development of the look for the formation of the deaf individuals or hearing impaired. For this reason, we take as relevant object of study, the initial formation in Libras in the UFT, in view of that the informing citizens of this formation represent an essential link for the inclusion of deaf people in the diverse scopes of the society, mainly, the educational one. The methodological path was configured in case study, of exploratory character, on the basis of the qualitative approach, with the bibliographical research, observation techniques and documentary analysis. Initial training in Letras-Libras has potential indications for the establishment of a consistent transforming practice with regard to the production of knowledge with the necessary pertinence to the formation of the being in a complex perspective. O propósito desta pesquisa foi analisar como o curso de Letras-Libras da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) delineia o processo formativo do futuro professor, por meio das implicações epistemológicas do Pensamento Complexo de Edgar Morin. Examinamos a estrutura curricular do curso, as ações docentes e as relações intersubjetivas enquanto elementos fundamentais para a religação e constituição de saberes, tendo como base a compreensão do aspecto multidimensional do sujeito surdo para além da instrução da segunda língua. Destacamos a importância de evidenciar que a multidimensionalidade humana deve ser considerada em todo o processo formativo, em que se proporcione aos futuros profissionais docentes o desenvolvimento do olhar para a formação do sujeito surdo ou deficiente auditivo. Por este motivo, tomamos como relevante objeto de estudo, a formação inicial em Libras na Universidade, tendo em vista que os sujeitos partícipes dessa formação representam um elo essencial para a inclusão de surdos nos diversos âmbitos da sociedade, principalmente, a educacional. O percurso metodológico foi configurado em estudo de caso, de caráter explicativo, com base na abordagem qualitativa, juntamente com levantamento bibliográfico, técnicas de observação e análise documental.
