This research shows the importance of literature teaching and literary literacy in the 21
th
century classroom. It contains an analysis of how literature is being worked in classrooms and
seen throughout ancient and contemporary society. The aim of this research is to evaluate how
literature is taught, how the teacher is valorized and the importance of her training to be
effective in forming effective readers. It is a qualitative and bibliographical research. We
conclude that it is still necessary to fill many gaps that exist in literature teaching and that
teacher training is essential for reaching positive results. |
