CNPQ::OUTROS With the intention of making the search for a social role of responsibility and return to society more concrete every day, the Hospital de Amor in Tocantins started a campaign to collect plastic caps to raise funds for the institution. The proposal involves the society of Tocantins and is related to reverse logistics. The general objective of this work is to present the reverse logistics initiative for caps carried out by the Hospital do Amor do Tocantins. As a methodological framework, the study was conducted based on the inductive method and included exploratory and bibliographic research, first presenting a literature review on the themes of logistics, supply chain, reverse logistics and reverse logistics of caps in Brazil, and then, expose the methodological aspects and consequences of the research. The results demonstrate that the process of collecting, separating and transporting the caps is very streamlined and has little bureaucracy, mostly carried out by volunteer employees.
