In this context, this research aimed to discuss the challenges that this period, and notably the realization of remote classes has enabled Geography teachers who teach in the state and municipal basic education network of Ananás - TO. This work is anchored in the exploratory research methodology. As methodological procedures, bibliographical surveys were carried out, dialogue with seven Geography teachers from the public network of the city of Ananás - TO. The research highlights the need to reflect on the training of Geography teachers to use TDIC in their remote classes, in view of the notorious challenges faced by them in the classroom. Inequality, lack of training, uncertainties and challenges are the descriptive words of remote learning. As for students, as these are the central point of this process, they may face implications of remote education over the next few years, especially those who were left unattended, as they did not have the means to monitor the classes. From this perspective, in view of the pandemic scenario, this work demonstrated the need to discuss not only the challenges of the Geography teacher, but also the need for continuing education for these professionals; the role of the school; the positive and negative effects that remote learning has highlighted on students; the consequences in the teaching-learning process and the inequalities that were highlighted during remote learning. A disseminação do Novo Coronavírus Sars-CoV-2 e a incorporação do ensino remoto emergencial, tornou o uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação – TDIC e das plataformas virtuais na educação uma realidade, impondo desafios e/ou possibilidades para os professores e alunos. Neste contexto, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo discutir os desafios que este período, e notadamente a realização das aulas remotas tem possibilitado aos professores de Geografia que lecionam na rede básica de ensino estadual e municipal de Ananás - TO. Este trabalho está ancorado na metodologia da pesquisa exploratória. Como procedimentos metodológicos foram realizados levantamentos bibliográficos, diálogo com sete professores de Geografia da rede pública da cidade de Ananás – TO. A pesquisa evidencia a necessidade de refletir sobre a capacitação dos professores de Geografia para utilizar as TDIC em suas aulas remotas, tendo em vista os notórios desafios enfrentados pelos mesmos em sala de aula. Desigualdade, falta de capacitação, incertezas e desafios são as palavras descritivas do ensino remoto. Quanto aos estudantes, sendo estes o ponto central desse processo, poderá enfrentar implicações do ensino remoto ao longo dos próximos anos, principalmente aqueles que ficaram desassistidos, pois não possuíam dos meios para acompanhar as aulas. Nessa perspectiva, tendo em vista o cenário pandêmico, este trabalho demonstrou a necessidade de discutir não somente os desafios do professor de Geografia, mas também sobre a necessidade de uma formação continuada desses profissionais; o papel da escola; os efeitos positivos e negativos que o ensino remoto realçou nos alunos; as consequências no processo de ensino- aprendizagem e as desigualdades que foram realçadas durante o ensino remoto. 2023-02-09T19:04:10Z 2023-02-09T19:04:10Z 2023-02-09 Monografia SILVA, Ricardo Dias da.
