Lima and College Educandário Goal Araguaína, chosen by the criterion of distance from one another, have initiation grants teaching, where I did my internship, schools with a high school geography, to show the syllabus of these schools. The research allowed to analyze the methodologies used in public and private schools, showing the reality of a private school in relation to the public. The completion of course work is to report the forms of education, highlighting the shortcomings and difficulties of teachers to teach the classes, forms of assimilation by the students. The issue is the teachers are really prepared and graduates in the area? Apply the best pedagogical ways? He attempted to diagnose the amount of resources in the school, if these are used by teachers, therefore, not enough to have resources if it has the domain using. Exit the traditional methods to arouse students' interest, because we live in the age of technology, working with play activities to facilitate teaching and learning in cartography. Through interviews and questionnaires given to students and teachers, even reporting, the importance of using maps and globes, we note that this is little used during the lessons. Soon realized that students can assimilate the content when using the maps and globes, by using easy to interpret and assemble the mental maps. O trabalho traz como objetivo a discussão e o encaminhamento de proposição para solucionar os déficits na aprendizagem da disciplina de Geografia na temática cartografia, as escolas selecionadas para a pesquisa foram: o CEM (Centro de Ensino Médio) Dr. José Aluisio, atualmente Colégio da Policia Militar (unidade III), Colégio Estadual Profa Silvandira S. Lima e Colégio Educandário Objetivo de Araguaína, escolhidas pelo critério de distância uma da outra, possuir bolsas de iniciação a docência, onde realizei meu estágio, as escolas com ensino médio de Geografia, para mostrar os planos de ensino dessas escolas. A pesquisa permitiu analisar as metodologias utilizadas nas escolas públicas e privadas, mostrando a realidade de uma escola particular em relação à pública. O trabalho de conclusão de curso vem relatar as formas de ensino, destacando as deficiências e as dificuldades dos professores em ministrar as aulas, as formas de assimilação por parte do alunado. A questão é os professores estão realmente preparados e graduados na área? Aplicam as melhores formas pedagógicas? Buscou-se diagnosticar os de recursos existentes na escola, se esses são utilizados pelos professores, pois, não adianta ter recursos se não tem o domínio de como usar. Sair dos métodos tradicionais para despertar o interesse dos alunos, pois vivemos na era tecnológica, trabalhar com atividades lúdicas para facilitar o ensino aprendizagem em cartografia. Através das entrevistas e questionários aplicados a alunos e professores, mesmo relatando, a importância do uso de mapas e globos, observamos que este é pouco utilizado durante as aulas.
