This final paper of Geography course aims to analyze the importance of geography teaching
in primary education in schools. The geography in elementary school as the other sciences
suffered over the years great changes, today we can not speak of a geography just the physical
study of nature, but also the interaction man / environment, society / nature. Currently
geography teaching in primary education has didactic and pedagogical specificities which can
either hinder how to approach the teaching-learning process to the universe lived and
perceived by students to design a more humane geographical space. Still on the teaching of
geography in elementary school, we must also to interpret and discuss the phenomena space-
time with a view to provide to the student know and develop investigative spirit and establish
your body, emotional and social communication with the elements of geographical space, in
addition, of course not fail to mention the reading, writing and discussion as the main focuses
of the various issues that need to be guaranteed as fundamental procedures for citizen training
and the metamorphosis of the contemporary world. The understanding of the unfolding of
Geography in school practice in elementary school requires an understanding of the various
approaches that science has over time so that the analysis allows a more all-encompassing and
comprehensive vision to students early in their learning. |
