The games represent a problem-solving practice, in addition, the teacher being a
mediator complies with the pedagogical practice with the exercise of evaluating
considering the daily life of a specific audience such as Youth and Adult Education,
also propose good questions in order to of enhancing the ability to comprehend
mathematical facts and concepts. The main objective of this research is to contribute
to the teaching of mathematics learning, showing the reader that the use of the games
in the subject in question, can be of great importance in the present day, bringing great
benefits to teaching. Initially, a bibliographical research was done on references that
deal with the subject matter. A case study was carried out in the 3rd period of the High

closed questions, which will be analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively aiming to
answer the guiding question of this research. With questions addressed to the teacher
and student, having as basic principle the knowledge on the theme "Use of Games in
Mathematics Teaching", as well as an activity to be answered using the game. Then,
from the results shown in the graphs, conclude the importance and influence that the
games have in the classroom. Since the games are a pedagogical resource that
structures thinking and reasoning, important skills to solve problems and calculations,
