The present Course Completion Work (TCC) is the result of a qualitative research,
focusing on the Education of Youth and Adults EJA, with the objective of investigating
possible factors that may be interfering and challenging pedagogical practices in the
teaching process. and learning mathematics in the Youth and Adult Education Modality
- EJA. The research is characterized as descriptive, in terms of its focus as exploratory.
The theoretical foundation that supports this research was based on readings of books,
theses, dissertations and articles that discuss the investigated theme, enabling the
understanding of the challenges of working at this level of schooling and in this
teaching modality. The information was constituted through a field research with five
teachers who teach mathematics in a public school in the municipality of Castanhal -
Pará. The results indicate that although professionals who work as teachers in the area
of mathematics, despite showing great diligence in performing a good pedagogical
practice and having a good relationship between the professional and the student, still
have a great need for training in the area to work in this modality. of teaching in the
classroom, there is a need to look at the needs of these professionals and students
who are given great responsibilities. |
